Applied QED Solutions provides a variety on-line training options. Because "life long learning" and "learning how to learn" philosophies are part of the way we do business, our online offerings are brimming with learning opportunities. Online, our web site contains e-tools, GoTs, RoT, white papers, web links, and the like. Each offering is a part of the bigger effort to provide needed services and products in support of the electronics industry.

Applied QED Solutions provides e-tools to allow the registered user to execute computations in support of problem solutions. The user interacts online by providing input data and results are displayed on our website. Our website e-tools are coupled with appropriate documentation and references. The user can access reference materials and a complement of theory to back each the tools' usage. As a hands-on opportunity, using the e-tools allows one to perform what if scenario case studies to help bound problems.

GoTs

Within our website Support area, electronics industry related terminology are available for alphabetical review in our Glossary of Terms (GoTs). Within the GoTs are a large complement of acronyms covering such topics as packaging forms, thermofluids parameters, key phrases, etc. Having terms readily available makes it that much easier to more fully understand technical materials.

RoT

In all trades there are standards, methods, and techniques. These are the rules and the accepted industry experience or approaches to handle problems. At Applied QED Solutions, we have adopted the term "Rules of Thumb" (RoT) to describe them. Like the GoTs, these RoT are listed in the Support area of our web site. As a matter of learning, each RoT provides coverage on a key industry aspect. The experience implied within each RoT is not to be construed as the "Law." RoT are only evolving rules which may or may not be applicable to particular real world issues. Applied QED Solutions sees the RoT as both a historical perspective and a basis to start problem evaluation.
